Role Summary
Senior design verification engineer responsible for CPU verification using SystemVerilog and UVM. The role focuses on writing tests, using internal test generators to target coverage and test-plan scenarios, and integrating verification components for high-performance RISC-V CPU designs.

Senior. The posting requests at least 3 years of experience in design verification, preferably in CPU verification.
Responsibilities
Primary verification responsibilities include test development, coverage targeting, and VIP integration.
- Develop SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification components for CPU verification.
- Write directed and generator-driven tests to exercise RISC-V CPU features and microarchitectures.
- Use/internalize test generators to create targeted tests for coverage and test-plan goals.
- Work with coverage metrics and test plans to identify verification gaps and drive closure.
- Integrate and validate third-party VIPs (e.g., bus VIPs) into the verification environment.
- Collaborate with architects and RTL engineers to debug CPU micro-architecture issues found during verification.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design verification, preferably in CPU verification.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience writing tests and implementing test plans for CPU architectures (x86, ARM, or RISC-V).
- Scripting experience, preferably Python.
- Knowledge of bus interfaces such as AXI or PCIe.
- Experience integrating and using third-party VIPs (bus VIPs).
- Familiarity with CPU micro-architecture concepts.
- Right to work in India and successful background/reference checks required; employment contingent on export-control authorization or ability to obtain required approvals.
