Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain production firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers and SoCs.
- Develop and debug device drivers, hardware abstraction layers, and interrupt-driven architectures.
- Define software architecture, evaluate performance/memory/power trade-offs, and ensure system reliability.
- Lead technical projects, coordinate across hardware, validation, and systems teams, and drive solutions to complex issues.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD, automated testing, and software quality practices for embedded projects.
- Mentor and review work of junior engineers; perform code reviews and contribute to team processes.
- Collaborate on connectivity, wireless, and cloud integration aspects as required by product scope.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time for project needs.

Must-have:
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Expert-level C programming and solid embedded software design skills.
- Experience with production firmware for ARM microcontrollers/SoCs and resource-constrained systems.
- Strong knowledge of real-time systems, interrupt-driven architectures, and low-level hardware interfaces.
- Experience developing and debugging device drivers and HALs.
- Proficiency with compilers, debuggers, IDEs, embedded toolchains, and Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software quality processes.
- Practical scripting skills (Python or Bash) for automation and tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical investigations, mentor engineers, and communicate effectively.

- Automotive software experience and knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262).
- Wireless communications, RF systems, or networking protocol experience.
- Secure boot, cryptography, embedded security, or Linux-based embedded systems experience.
- Experience with IoT architectures, cloud integration, and agile methodologies.
Education Requirements
