Senior Engineer — DPG Compute PE Y/Q

Role Summary

Member of the DRAM Product Architecture Group responsible for yield and quality outcomes for compute-focused DRAM products. The role leads technical execution across fabrication, test, assembly, and system teams to meet customer milestones and product grade targets.

This is a senior technical design leadership role owning end-to-end product health, coordinating cross-site execution, and driving data-driven decisions during normal operations and yield events.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Minimum guidance: 3+ years of experience in DRAM, semiconductor product engineering, or yield and quality roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include managing yield and quality strategy, coordinating cross-functional execution, and representing product health to stakeholders.

  • Own yield, quality, speed, and product grade strategy deliverables for compute products.
  • Lead yield improvement and disposition decisions using risk-based, data-driven methods.
  • Align and drive execution across fab, test, assembly, module, quality, and operations teams.
  • Represent product health, risks, and recovery plans in leadership and customer forums.
  • Lead coordinated response during yield events, excursions, and critical issues.
  • Apply AI and data analytics where appropriate to support analysis and decision-making.

Requirements

Key must-have and preferred qualifications for successful candidates.

Must-have:

  • 3+ years of experience in DRAM, semiconductor product engineering, or yield and quality roles.
  • Experience analyzing yield, quality, or manufacturing data and driving corrective actions.
  • Ability to lead technical issues across multiple functions and global teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with DRAM failure modes, disposition strategies, and yield recovery methods.
  • Experience working across fab, backend test, assembly, or module interfaces.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership influencing decisions beyond direct ownership.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
