Senior Engineer, Analog Design Engineering
Role Summary
Senior Analog IC Design Engineer supporting assigned IC products through the full product life cycle within the Consumer Business Unit at ADI Taipei Design Center. Responsible for transistor-level circuit design, verification, layout supervision, AMS/top-level verification, and lab validation.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include design, verification, documentation, and validation of analog/mixed-signal circuits:
- Create transistor-level circuit designs to meet specifications
- Verify designs using transistor-level and behavioral-level simulations
- Perform AMS and top-level verification
- Model DC-DC switching regulator behavior using Simplis, Verilog-A, or Verilog-AMS
- Read and interpret Verilog RTL and collaborate with digital teams
- Supervise circuit layout and coordinate with layout engineers
- Write circuit documentation and test plans; work with test engineers to ensure testability
- Validate circuit performance in the lab
Requirements
Key technical and interpersonal requirements.
Must-have:
- Minimum 3 years of analog/mixed-signal design experience
- Strong transistor-level design and simulation skills
- Practical knowledge of analog building blocks: bandgaps, op amps, comparators, relaxation oscillators, PLLs, feedback and compensation techniques
- Good written and verbal English communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to validate circuits in the lab and collaborate with test engineers
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of DC-DC topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost, charge pump, LDO
- Proficiency in Cadence mixed-signal design and simulation
- Proficiency in Simplis
- Experience with Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS or WREAL modeling
- Familiarity with Verilog HDL
- Scripting skills (Python, shell)
Education Requirements
Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required (as stated in the posting).
