Senior Engineer, Analog Design Engineering

Responsibilities
Key duties include design, verification, silicon evaluation, and leading product release activities.
- Design analog or digital circuits and perform chip-level integration with attention to yield and testability.
- Perform system- and block-level simulation and modeling to develop new circuits and techniques.
- Evaluate silicon on the bench, analyze data, verify circuit functionality, and troubleshoot design issues.
- Prepare design specifications, technical reports, test plans, and present at peer design reviews.
- Work with layout engineers to review physical layouts and recommend characterization or corrective actions.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project activities (test, product, applications) through debug, evaluation, characterization, qualification, and production release.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Minimum two years' experience as an Analog Design Engineer performing validation and characterization on semiconductor devices.
- Demonstrated expertise in analog design, transistor-level simulation, layout, and verification using Cadence tools or equivalent.
- Experience evaluating silicon implementations on CMOS or BCD processes and performing failure analysis.
- Proven participation in all phases of new product development: debug, evaluation, characterization, qualification, and final test.
- Practical lab experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other bench test equipment for circuit evaluation.
- Ability to document test plans, present design review material, and implement corrective actions for design bugs.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with integrated power analog design and advanced mixed-signal verification techniques.
- Deeper familiarity with device physics and semiconductor processing to inform analog block design.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related technical discipline; foreign education equivalents accepted. Graduate program experience may supply some required skills. The posting also specifies two years of related professional experience.
