Job Title

Senior Engineer, Analog Design Engineering

Role Summary

Design and develop advanced analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for product lines that include sensor interfaces, data converters, filters and power systems. Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering organization and provide technical leadership on complex designs.

Contribute hands-on to circuit architecture, transistor-level design, simulation and verification while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with verification, process, test and application teams.

Experience Level

Senior-level. The posting indicates an experienced hire with advanced responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include architecture, design, verification and cross-functional coordination for analog/mixed-signal ICs.

  • Design analog and mixed-signal IC blocks (sensor interfaces, ADC/DACs, filters, multiplexers, power distribution).
  • Lead circuit architecture and optimization decisions for performance and implementation trade-offs.
  • Perform block- and transistor-level design, simulation, evaluation and debugging using industry-standard tools.
  • Verify performance across process, voltage and temperature (PVT) corners and ensure design robustness.
  • Collaborate with product definition, verification, process, test and application engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design approaches.
  • Investigate and resolve complex design problems using experienced engineering judgment.
  • Travel as required for collaboration and program support (listed as ~10% in the posting).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for the role.

  • Strong analog circuit design skills (amplifiers, filters, data converters) with ability to optimize for target applications.
  • Advanced mixed-signal IC design experience, including integration of analog and digital domains while managing signal integrity.
  • Experience developing circuit architectures that balance performance and implementation constraints.
  • Proficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB and Cadence Design Suite for validation across conditions.
  • Solid understanding of physical IC layout considerations and experience optimizing layouts for performance.
  • Deep knowledge of CMOS circuit design principles and implementation techniques.
  • Expertise in ADC/DAC design principles and optimizing converter performance parameters.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts and mentor less-experienced engineers.

Education Requirements

Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field. The posting also specifies 5+ years of relevant analog circuit design experience. Related technical backgrounds (electrical/computer engineering, physics, applied electronics) or equivalent practical experience may be acceptable.
