Job Title
Senior Engineer - Analog Design
Role Summary
Design and integrate advanced analog circuits for DRAM products and lead cross-functional implementation from circuit concept through layout and verification. The role includes technical leadership, collaboration with process/test/product teams, and mentoring junior designers.
Experience Level
Senior-level. No specific years-of-experience listed in the posting.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include design, verification, and integration of analog blocks and driving manufacturability and delivery.
- Design, implement, and integrate complex analog circuits (CMOS amplifiers, comparators, bandgap references, LDOs, charge pumps, oscillators, DLLs, IO buffers, analog test muxes, process monitors, temperature sensors) for advanced DRAM products.
- Design and integrate synchronous and asynchronous custom digital blocks related to analog subsystems.
- Perform parasitic modeling, simulation-based validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
- Oversee and manage layout activities including floor-planning, placement, and routing to ensure manufacturability.
- Execute verification using industry-standard simulators and collaborate with CAD, modeling, and verification teams to improve design quality.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups.
- Mentor and lead junior designers to build team capability.
- Use AI tools and agentic AI models (e.g., Claude) to improve engineering efficiency, PPA optimization, and delivery timelines.
Requirements
