Role Summary
Join the Architecture and Technology Group (ATG) within Arm’s Architecture Modelling Team to develop, validate, and evolve Arm architecture pseudocode and executable models that drive CPU and system architecture behavior across profiles. The role provides technical leadership on long-lived projects that affect product implementations and the broader ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include technical leadership of modelling work, tool development, and cross-team collaboration.
- Lead development, validation, and evolution of architectural models.
- Expand modelling capabilities to evaluate and compare different architectural choices.
- Own and evolve tool flows that consume architectural data, ensuring correctness, scalability, and usability.
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance across teams; mentor and review work from other engineers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define and validate system-level features.
Requirements

- Strong professional experience in computer architecture or systems engineering.
- Deep understanding of computer architecture concepts.
- Proficient scripting in Python and professional systems programming experience in C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience with configuration management, testing strategies, and continuous integration/delivery.
- Ability to evaluate, introduce, and improve tools and workflows as requirements evolve.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain complex architecture to technical and non-technical audiences and influence decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and drive technical solutions from concept to delivery.
Nice-to-have:
- Hands-on experience with Arm architecture and Arm assembly.
- Experience developing or maintaining architectural or system-level software models.
- Proven ability to operate across complex, multi-stakeholder projects and contribute to internal tooling or open-source efforts.
