Role Overview

The Senior EMIR CAD Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of world-class EMIR and Totem flows. You will work closely with internal experts and EDA vendors to evaluate new features, integrate best practices into a cohesive software-designed flow, and provide ongoing tools and flow support for global design teams.

Experience Requirement

We are seeking candidates with extensive industry experience in silicon design, particularly with a focus on EMIR and Totem. You should possess strong technical skills in Physical Design and Advanced Packaging, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and maintain state-of-the-art EMIR flows using advanced EDA tools.
  • Support global IP, SoC, and 3DIC design teams, adapting flows for new technology nodes.
  • Engage with internal EMIR experts and EDA vendors to continuously improve methodologies.
  • Address tool issues and bugs in collaboration with EDA vendors.
  • Manage tool versions, regression testing, and qualification processes for deployment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in VLSI and CMOS fundamentals, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, as well as excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is required.
