Role Summary

Develop and maintain the Unified Chip Integrator (UCI) tool and related automation to assemble IPs/modules into subsystem and chip-level flows. The role focuses on scripting, implementation documentation, verification environment setup, analysis of tool outputs and user feedback, and providing user support. Team: Manufacturing engineering in Ho Chi Minh City supporting front-end chip integration workflows.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include tool development, verification, automation and user support for chip integration flows.

• Implement UCI tool features to assemble IPs/modules and promote subsystems to CHIPTOP level.
• Create implementation documentation and Verification Item Lists.
• Write and maintain scripts (Python, Perl, Tcl) and Linux tooling to automate flows and improve productivity.
• Build and maintain verification environments and test scripts.
• Analyze tool outputs and user feedback to identify improvements.
• Support tool users executing flows in their environments.

Requirements

Key must-have and preferred skills for the role.

• Must-have: Strong scripting skills (Linux, Tcl, Python, Perl).
• Basic knowledge of RTL design and verification processes.
• Basic knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI3/4/5, AHB5, APB4).
• Good communication skills.
• Preferred: Front-end development experience (IP or product).
• Familiarity with front-end EDA tools (Xcelium, VCS, Verdi, synthesis tools, Spyglass).
• Experience with SystemC, UVM or other object-oriented verification frameworks.
