Job Title

Senior DSP Software Engineer

Role Summary

Design and implement DSP audio filters, algorithms and embedded DSP solutions for audio products. Work with the engineering team in Greece (Athens/Patras) on development, integration, verification and production support.

Deliver optimized real-time DSP software and frameworks for embedded audio applications.

Experience Level

Senior — approximately 6+ years of experience in embedded software development with deep DSP expertise.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, integrate and verify DSP audio filters and algorithms.
• Implement and optimise embedded DSP software and audio frameworks for real-time systems.
• Develop test benches and validate algorithms in simulation and on target hardware.
• Debug and resolve technical issues; provide technical support from requirements through production.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Extensive knowledge of DSP concepts, MCU/IC and audio codec architectures.
• Strong experience with real-time embedded C/C++ and DSP algorithm development.
• Experience with fixed-point implementation and real-time embedded architectures.
• Proficient in debugging and problem solving; familiar with software development workflows and issue tracking (e.g., JIRA).
• Competency in Python and/or MATLAB for algorithm development and testing.
• Ability to work to tight schedules and communicate effectively across multi-site teams.

Desirable:

• Experience in audio, digital filtering and portable audio applications (headphones, wireless earbuds).
• Experience optimising DSP for low footprint, low latency and low power.
• Previous team-leading or technical-leading experience.
• Familiarity with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) and SystemC.

Education Requirements
