Job Title

Senior DRAM Product Engineer

Role Summary

Lead preparation, introduction and lifecycle support for DRAM products at Fab 6, coordinating testing, analysis, and cross-functional troubleshooting across Engineering and Manufacturing teams.

Work includes designing and maintaining test programs and documentation, validating lab equipment and tests, responding to failures, and acting as a product-specific point of contact for applications and quality. Role may telecommute part-time.

Experience Level

Senior. The employer specifies a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for this role.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include managing product introduction and ensuring product readiness through testing, analysis, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Prepare for new DRAM product introductions and manage lifecycle activities.
  • Coordinate resources for device testing, characterization, and failure analysis.
  • Run simulations and analyze parametric and reliability data.
  • Create and maintain design and test documentation; complete design introduction checklists.
  • Troubleshoot with Engineering and Manufacturing groups to resolve device and process issues.
  • Develop, validate and maintain device testing programs and identify lab equipment needs.
  • Identify or modify tests for customer returns and specific product requirements.
  • Serve as a product-specific point of contact for Application Engineers and Quality Assurance.
  • Work with Process Integration Engineering (PIE) to integrate product and process requirements.

Requirements

Technical skills and domain knowledge required for the role.

  • Semiconductor physics and semiconductor manufacturing experience.
  • DRAM product operation and device reliability knowledge.
  • Electrical design, electrical testing, and CMOS logic design.
  • VLSI, IC layout analysis, and electrical schematic analysis.
  • Statistical analysis skills.
  • Linux/Unix proficiency and scripting or software development experience.
  • Experience with JMP and standard office software.
  • Knowledge of computer systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards is listed.

Education Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
