Job Title

Senior DRAM Product Engineer

Role Summary

Prepare new DRAM products for manufacturing and coordinate testing, analysis, documentation, and resources across the product lifecycle. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Process Integration Engineering (PIE), Application Engineering, and Quality Assurance to develop and validate device testing programs, resolve failures, and ensure product reliability.

Maintain design documentation, run simulations, analyze parametric data, and identify lab equipment and test needs. This role may telecommute part-time.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include coordinating product introduction activities, testing, and cross-functional troubleshooting.

  • Plan and prepare DRAM products for introduction and production; maintain design documentation and checklists.
  • Coordinate resources, testing, and analysis across the product lifecycle; run simulations and analyze parametric data.
  • Investigate and respond to failures; work with Engineering and Manufacturing to troubleshoot root causes.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain device testing programs and test procedures; identify lab equipment needs.
  • Evaluate and modify tests for customer returns and special programs to meet product requirements.
  • Act as a product-specific point of contact; collaborate with Application Engineering on datasheets and with Quality Assurance on reliability.
  • Work with Process Integration Engineering to ensure integration of product and process requirements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and domain knowledge.

  • Semiconductor physics and semiconductor manufacturing experience (DRAM preferred).
  • DRAM product operation knowledge and familiarity with device reliability concepts.
  • Experience with CMOS logic design, VLSI, electrical design, and electrical schematic and IC layout analysis.
  • Electrical testing experience and ability to develop/validate device test programs.
  • Statistical analysis skills; familiarity with JMP and standard office software.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments, scripting, and basic software development.
  • Understanding of computer systems architecture and relevant automotive standards where applicable.

Education Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
