Role Summary

Lead the technical program for Arm's partner SoC development, ensuring delivery of advanced SoC designs from concept through production. Manage a multi-functional team and coordinate across architecture, design, packaging, software, validation, test, and product engineering to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Experience Level

Senior — requires extensive leadership experience. The role expects approximately 20+ years of experience in technical management of large, complex SoC or subsystem designs.

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for end-to-end program leadership and cross-functional alignment.

• Own technical tradeoffs and decisions required for program success.
• Drive technical alignment between internal teams and partners across architecture, front-end design, physical design, packaging, software, silicon validation, test, product engineering, quality, and post-silicon operations.
• Manage timely resolution of change requests (features, quality, design efficiency).
• Serve as the program point of contact internally and externally; communicate program status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to multi-functional and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

Core technical program leadership skills and SoC delivery experience are required. Listed as must-have and nice-to-have items.

• Must-have: 20+ years managing large, complex SoC or subsystem design programs from concept to production, including PPA tradeoffs and system-level integration.
• Must-have: Deep knowledge of SoC design principles, methodologies, and tool flows.
• Must-have: Extensive experience with post-silicon qualification, foundry process and device performance, yield issues, product test, and system integration.
• Must-have: Proven ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience as a chip lead or technical lead on SOC designs.
• Nice-to-have: Experience managing a portfolio of SOCs across market segments (Mobile, Compute, Automotive, PC).
• Nice-to-have: Transformational leadership skills — ability to articulate vision and influence decisions across organizations and external partners.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred fields: Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Equivalent industry experience is acceptable per the posting.
