Role Summary

Lead end-to-end execution of complex SoC and processor programs from concept through tape-out, silicon bring-up, production ramp, and commercialization. Acts as chip lead, technical program leader, and business stakeholder manager, aligning architecture, silicon, software, validation, and business teams.

Experience Level

Senior-level; typically 20+ years of semiconductor industry experience, including leadership of complex SoC/ASIC/processor development programs.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include program leadership, technical direction, and cross-functional alignment.

• Own SoC development lifecycle: architecture, tape-out, bring-up, production ramp, and commercialization.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, RTL design, verification, DFT, physical design, software, and post-silicon validation.
• Drive program execution: schedules, staffing plans, risk management, and milestone delivery.
• Lead trade-off decisions on performance, power, area, cost, quality, features, and schedule.
• Coordinate hardware-software co-design with software, systems, product, and business teams.
• Serve as primary interface for customers, business units, and senior leadership on execution matters.
• Support customer engagements and product-vertical visits as required.
• Align globally distributed teams and drive production readiness and go-to-market planning.

Requirements

Must-have technical leadership and program delivery experience.

• 20+ years of semiconductor industry experience with leadership responsibility for complex SoC/ASIC/processor programs.
• Proven track record of multiple successful silicon tape-outs and product commercialization.
• Deep expertise in SoC architecture, digital design, verification, DFT, physical design, silicon validation, and manufacturing.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Strong customer-facing skills, stakeholder management, clear communication, and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
