Senior Director, AI Systems Architect for Operations
Role Summary
Lead the design and deployment of enterprise-scale, multi-agent AI systems to automate and optimize engineering, product, test, quality, reliability, and supply-chain operations across the semiconductor lifecycle. This is a senior technical leadership role working with engineering, operations, IT, and executive stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in cycle time, quality, and operational efficiency.

Senior β minimum 20 years of proven semiconductor experience and extensive technical leadership across product development and operations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include building strategy, architecture, governance, and delivery for agentic AI across product operations:
- Define and execute long-term vision and strategy for agentic AI in engineering and product operations.
- Architect and deploy enterprise-scale multi-agent AI platforms using LLMs/SLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, MCP frameworks, and agent orchestration technologies.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact AI automation opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cycle time.
- Drive AI-enabled transformation across the semiconductor lifecycle (design, verification, validation, test engineering, yield, reliability, failure analysis, manufacturing, product operations, supply chain).
- Establish enterprise AI governance, security, deployment, and adoption standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to deliver company-wide AI initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and technical leaders; represent the organization externally at conferences, publications, and partnerships.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and leadership qualities:
- Minimum 20 years of industry experience in semiconductor design, test, validation, manufacturing, or related operations.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying multi-agent/agentic AI systems in production environments.
- Proven technical leadership across areas such as design & verification, DFT, silicon validation, product & test engineering, yield, quality & reliability, failure analysis, manufacturing/NPI.
- Strong expertise in agentic AI architectures, generative AI, LLMs, SLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, and AI workflow orchestration frameworks.
- Experience building enterprise automation platforms and integrating AI with EDA tools, engineering data ecosystems, manufacturing, and business systems.
- Experience deploying secure, production-grade AI platforms (including on-premise for engineering applications).
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Education Requirements
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field (Master's or PhD explicitly listed). Ph.D. is preferred; equivalent level of experience may be acceptable. Preferred certifications: multiple advanced AI/ML certifications (for example in agentic AI, generative AI, ML, deep learning, RAG systems, knowledge graphs, or AI engineering).
