Senior Digital Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Work on system- and block-level verification of Mythic's digital dataflow architecture, including scheduling subsystems, high-performance interconnects, DMA engines, and memory controllers that interface to the analog compute engine. The role sits on the Design Verification team and collaborates with RTL designers, architecture modelers, analog IP, compiler, emulation, and post-silicon teams.

Expect to combine simulation, modeling, and creative verification strategies to validate large AI workloads and ensure silicon correctness and performance.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Plan and execute system-level and block-level verification efforts.
• Develop test plans and coverage plans to meet verification goals.
• Design and implement testbenches and verification environments using UVM or comparable methodologies.
• Build verification infrastructure and automated flows for simulation and regression.
• Use architecture models to validate functionality of large AI networks on the design.
• Collaborate with RTL designers and architects to verify subsystems such as scheduling fabrics, interconnects, DMA engines, and memory controllers.

Requirements

Must-have:

• 5+ years industry experience developing verification testbenches and environments.
• Practical knowledge of verification methodologies (UVM or similar).
• Strong understanding of computer architecture: datapaths, memory hierarchies, and interconnects.
• Experience verifying scheduling subsystems, high-performance interconnects, DMA engines, or memory subsystems.
• Proficient in Verilog and SystemVerilog; experience using UVM for testbench development.
• Familiarity with coverage-driven verification and advanced stimulus generation techniques.
• Proven track record of first-pass silicon success or equivalent delivery on complex chips.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to formal verification methods and tools.
• Experience with power-aware or performance-driven verification flows.
• Prior verification experience for AI, DSP, or other highly parallel architectures.
• Strong scripting skills (Python or similar) for automation and infrastructure development.

Education Requirements
