Job Title
Senior Digital Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Lead and execute digital verification efforts for mixed-signal ASIC/SoC projects. Work closely with RTL designers and analog engineers to define verification strategy, develop test plans and testbenches, and close functional and code coverage.
Experience Level
Senior β minimum 5 years of experience in digital and/or formal verification, with proven SoC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and drive verification strategy and test plans for SoC/mixed-signal designs.
- Design, implement and maintain SystemVerilog/Verilog testbenches and UVM components.
- Develop and execute verification test cases and regression suites.
- Measure and analyse code coverage, functional coverage and assertion coverage; close coverage gaps.
- Perform gate-level simulation and post-synthesis validation.
- Automate verification flows and scripts using Python/Tcl.
- Debug functional issues across RTL, verification environment, and analog interfaces.
- Collaborate with RTL and analog teams and participate in design and verification reviews.
Requirements
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in digital and/or formal verification in a product environment.
- Strong SystemVerilog and Verilog skills; proven experience with UVM-based verification flows.
- Experience developing testbenches, testcases, and verification environments for complex SoCs.
- Solid knowledge of code coverage, functional coverage and assertion-based verification.
- Experience with gate-level simulation and timing-related verification issues.
- Proficient with scripting and automation (Python, Tcl) to support verification flows.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: verification experience in complex datapath/DSP blocks.
Education Requirements
B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. in VLSI (as listed in the source).
