Job Title

Senior Digital Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for planning and executing verification of digital control-loop features in advanced power-management products used in AI, datacenter, and high-performance computing. Works across models, simulations, emulation, bench validation, and silicon to ensure features behave as intended.

Experience Level

Senior level. The posting requests 5+ years of relevant experience in digital power control, mixed-signal verification, semiconductor validation, systems engineering, or related product development.

Responsibilities

Focus on feature-level verification, correlation across environments, and automation to produce repeatable, measurable evidence of correct behavior.

  • Develop and execute verification plans for digital control-loop features and functions.
  • Translate feature requirements into measurable test scenarios and pass/fail criteria.
  • Verify behavior across operating conditions, configurations, limits, sequencing, and corner cases.
  • Test compensation, stability, bandwidth, transient response, latency, sampling, quantization, saturation, mode transitions, sensing, telemetry, protection, and feature interactions.
  • Analyze behavior using behavioral models, RTL and mixed-signal simulations, emulation, bench measurements, and silicon results.
  • Correlate results across models, simulation, emulation, bench validation, and silicon to identify differences and support engineering decisions.
  • Evaluate interactions between digital loop functions and analog components (ADCs, DACs, sensing paths, PWM, timing paths, power stages).
  • Produce clear verification evidence: test conditions, configurations, metrics, plots, waveforms, results, and conclusions.
  • Develop and maintain automation for parameter sweeps, corner testing, waveform analysis, regression testing, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with systems, analog, digital, firmware, verification, validation, applications, and software/tool teams.

Requirements

Concise list of required skills and desirable additions. Education requirements are summarized separately below.

  • Must-have: 5+ years of relevant experience in digital power control, mixed-signal verification, semiconductor validation, systems engineering, power electronics, or design verification.
  • Must-have: Solid understanding of feedback control systems (compensation, stability, bandwidth, transient response, latency, sampling, quantization, saturation, nonlinear behavior).
  • Must-have: Experience testing or verifying digital control functions, mixed-signal systems, or power-management features.
  • Must-have: Ability to analyze waveforms and data, isolate behavioral differences, and relate results to requirements and implementation.
  • Must-have: Experience developing and executing test plans, scenarios, and pass/fail criteria.
  • Must-have: Scripting or programming experience for test automation and data analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB or similar).
  • Must-have: Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience with digital multiphase controllers, DC/DC converters, voltage regulators, high-current datacenter power applications.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Familiarity with behavioral modeling, Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog RNM, real-number modeling, SIMPLIS, RTL simulation, and semiconductor validation workflows.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience automating parameter sweeps, corner testing, waveform analysis, regression testing, and verification reporting; familiarity with measurement techniques (Bode analysis, load-transient, output-impedance, timing/latency).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is specified.
