Job Title

Senior DFX Engineer - HSIO

Role Summary

Design and deliver Design-for-Test (DFX) and functional test solutions for High-Speed I/O (HSIO) interfaces across NVIDIA silicon and systems. Work with the HSIO DFX Engineering team on test architecture, verification, and post-silicon bring-up to ensure production-quality chips and reliable system behavior.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing and deploying functional and structural test solutions for HSIO interfaces and supporting silicon lifecycle monitoring.

  • Architect, design, verify and bring up functional and structural DFX solutions for HSIO interfaces.
  • Develop and deliver in-system tests for continuous health monitoring and silicon lifecycle management.
  • Participate across the workflow from power-on-reset (POR) to post-silicon bring-up for HSIO functional tests and DFX solutions.
  • Create and apply methodologies to improve designs, test workflows, and processes.
  • Solve analog and mixed-signal (AMS) challenges and develop scalable test solutions that work across platforms.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of digital logic design, architecture and verification methodologies.
  • Strong coding skills in industry-standard scripting languages (e.g., Python, TCL, Shell).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and curiosity to learn.
  • Ability to work across pre-silicon and post-silicon activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Nice-to-have: silicon bring-up experience and AMS domain exposure.

Education Requirements

B.Tech / BE / BS or M.Tech / ME / MS in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication (EE / ECE) or closely related technical field. The posting indicates a preference for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience.
