Senior DFX Engineer - HSIO
Role Summary
Work on the HSIO DFX engineering team to architect, design, verify and bring up functional and structural test solutions for high-speed IO interfaces. The role covers the full flow from POR to post-silicon bring-up and targets reliable in-system monitoring and silicon lifecycle management.
Experience Level
Senior level. The posting indicates approximately 3+ years of relevant experience; the role expects demonstrated practical engineering experience in DFX or related HSIO domains.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include delivering DFX and test solutions for HSIO interfaces and improving workflows and processes.
- Architect, design, verify and bring up functional and structural coverage solutions for HSIO interfaces.
- Develop and deliver in-system tests for continuous health monitoring and silicon lifecycle management.
- Participate in the full workflow from POR to post-silicon bring-up for HSIO functional test and DFX solutions.
- Create methodologies and tools that improve designs, verification flows, and production workflows.
- Address Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) challenges and develop scalable test solutions across platforms.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding and exposure to logic design, architecture and verification.
- Strong coding skills in industry-standard scripting languages (for automation and test development).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a curiosity to learn.
- Preferred: silicon bring-up experience and prior work in AMS/HSIO domains.
Education Requirements
B.Tech / BE / BS or M.Tech / ME / MS in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
