Senior-level (title indicates senior; typically 7+ years of relevant semiconductor/DFT experience).

Responsibilities

The role focuses on end-to-end DFT ownership across complex ASIC projects.

  • Lead and mentor a team of DFT engineers and coordinate with frontend and backend design teams.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews to define testability and debug solutions.
  • Define design constraints for implementation and perform sign-off for DFT deliverables.
  • Create and manage work plans, track progress, and resolve execution risks.
  • Support silicon bring-up, reliability testing, and advanced physical failure analysis.
  • Drive yield and reliability improvement activities to enable rapid production deployment.

Requirements

Core technical requirements and desirable skills. Education requirements are listed separately below.

  • Must-have: Extensive semiconductor design and DFT engineering expertise.
  • Must-have: Advanced knowledge of chip design using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Must-have: Proficiency in structural scan techniques and scan flows.
  • Must-have: Deep understanding of memory test and repair methodologies.
  • Must-have: Demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects and driving cross-functional teams.
  • Must-have: Experience with silicon bring-up, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with UVM-based verification methodologies.
