Senior DFT Engineer

Role Summary

Lead DFT engineering for Annapurna Labs (an Amazon team) to define and deliver testability, debug, reliability, and yield improvements for next-generation cloud SoCs. Work closely with front-end and back-end design teams and drive silicon bring-up and reliability activities to deliver production-quality silicon at scale.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership of DFT efforts, coordination across design and test disciplines, and delivering production-ready silicon.

• Lead DFT strategy and implementation across a complex SoC project, including architectural DFT decisions.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to create design-for-testability and debug solutions.
• Provide design constraints for implementation and perform DFT sign-off.
• Create and drive work plans; manage and mentor a team of engineers.
• Support silicon bring-up, reliability testing, and physical failure analysis to improve yield and time-to-production.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

• Extensive expertise in semiconductor design and DFT engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog for chip design.
• Proficiency with structural scan techniques and flows.
• Deep understanding of memory test and repair methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects and teams.
• Strong debugging and reliability analysis skills for silicon bring-up.

Preferred:

• Experience with UVM and verification methodologies.
• Knowledge of Design for Debug principles.
• Familiarity with Static Timing Analysis (STA).
• Experience with 3D testing technologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (as stated in the posting).
