Role Summary

Implement and validate Design-for-Testability (DFT) for complex SoCs and chiplet-based SiP designs. Work with internal teams, external IP providers, and EDA vendors to ensure testability, manufacturability, and high-yield mass production.

Senior-level — requires 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Define and implement DFT architectures to improve testability, debug, and manufacturability.
• Specify and ensure insertion of scan chains, BIST, JTAG, and other DFT structures.
• Optimize DFT methodologies to minimize test time, reduce cost, and improve yield.
• Develop and implement silicon, package, and system-level test plans and strategies.
• Design and deploy automated production and characterization test solutions.
• Ensure test coverage from pre-silicon stages through mass production and support multiple tape-outs.
• Perform post-silicon test analysis and lead yield-improvement activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, validation, packaging, operations, product management, and external partners.
• Drive process improvements and lead initiatives for cost reduction, efficiency, and quality enhancement.

Key technical and professional requirements.

• Must-have: 8+ years of DFT/post-silicon test experience with proven multiple tape-outs of high-performance SoCs or SiPs.
• Must-have: Strong background in post-silicon test optimization and yield analysis; experience defining test strategies for high-volume production.
• Must-have: Proficiency in RTL and testbench development using SystemVerilog and Verilog.
• Must-have: Strong scripting skills (Shell, Tcl, Python3).
• Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with Tessent and SSN methods integrated with EDA flows for advanced technology nodes.
• Reports to: DFT and Post-Silicon Lead.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
