Senior Device Technology Engineer

Role Summary

Senior engineer responsible for electrical characterization, reliability testing, and analysis of advanced semiconductor devices and materials to support technology development and product integration.

Works on experimental methodology, test hardware and data analysis in collaboration with process, device and product teams.

Experience Level

Senior; role targets experienced engineers (senior-level contributors).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on hands-on device testing, data interpretation and cross-functional technical collaboration.

  • Perform electrical characterization and reliability testing of advanced semiconductor devices and materials.
  • Develop and execute characterization methodologies for performance analysis and failure investigation.
  • Analyze electrical measurement data and correlate results with device physics and process behavior.
  • Support development of test structures, characterization flows and experimental setups.
  • Collaborate with process integration, device engineering, product engineering and R&D teams.
  • Prepare technical reports, present findings and provide recommendations for device optimization.
  • Improve testing methodologies, measurement accuracy and data analysis techniques.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in the role.

  • Strong hands-on experience in device characterization and electrical measurement techniques from graduate research, R&D or technology development roles.
  • Strong understanding of device physics and semiconductor fundamentals.
  • Experience with advanced device technologies preferred (e.g., ferroelectrics, memory devices, CMOS).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment, parametric testing, reliability testing and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to design experiments, develop test flows and interpret complex datasets.
  • Collaboration skills to work across process, device and product engineering teams.

Education Requirements
