Senior Developer Technology Engineer - Agentic AI
Role Summary
Optimize end-to-end performance of agentic workloads on NVIDIA RTX and DGX SoCs, work directly with developer partners, and feed real-world workload insights into SoC, driver, and system software design.
Experience Level
Senior-level. 5+ years of relevant software development experience (as stated in the posting).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include partner engagement, performance optimization, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring.
- Lead performance optimization for compute‑intensive CPU, AI, and 3D graphics workflows on RTX and DGX SoCs.
- Engage with developer ecosystem partners to profile, debug, and tune real-world applications.
- Identify bottlenecks across system software, GPU drivers, and hardware; implement and validate fixes.
- Collaborate with architecture and research teams to translate partner workflows into SoC design guidance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
- Occasional travel for conferences and on-site partner visits.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and professional attributes.
- 5+ years of software development experience (per posting).
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; strong software design and parallel programming skills.
- Experience developing native software on Windows and Linux.
- Experience with profiling and debugging tools for CPU and GPU performance analysis.
- Fundamental understanding of CPU or GPU architecture.
- Familiarity with agents for software development workflows.
- Strong communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and think critically.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
