Senior Design Verification Infrastructure Engineer - Build
Role Summary
Develop and maintain the Verification Platform build system used by Design Verification and related validation teams. Collaborate with verification, software, and tool teams to architect scalable build infrastructure, author build recipes, and deliver tooling and best practices.
Experience Level
Senior. The role expects experienced engineers; the posting indicates 5+ years of software/scripting experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing and operating the build platform and enabling verification teams to use it effectively.
- Architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform build system to scale across teams and projects.
- Implement build flows, tools, and methodologies for end-to-end verification and validation workflows.
- Write and maintain Verification Platform build recipes using the Wake language.
- Train and advise verification teams on best practices for using the platform.
Requirements
Minimum technical requirements and preferred skills.
- Proven experience architecting, developing, and maintaining production build systems.
- Software engineering background with 5+ years of experience in at least one scripting language.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Wake or functional programming languages.
- Familiarity with hermetic build systems such as Bazel or Buck.
- Knowledge of EDA tools and design verification flows.
