Job Title

Senior Design Verification Engineer - Interconnect IP

Role Summary

Verify the ASIC design, architecture and micro-architecture of GPU memory-subsystem and interconnect IP. Develop verification scope, infrastructure, test plans and tests, and drive coverage- and assertion-based closure for complex IP and sub-systems.

Work closely with architects, designers and pre/post-silicon teams to ensure functional correctness, performance and deadlock-free behavior of the subsystem.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically 5+ years of ASIC design verification experience (as stated in the posting).

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

  • Define verification scope and plans for complex IP/sub-systems.
  • Design and implement verification infrastructure, testbenches and bus functional models (BFMs).
  • Create tests, monitors, checkers and scoreboards following coverage-driven methodologies.
  • Perform functional coverage-driven verification closure and assertion-based verification.
  • Verify performance and deadlock scenarios for the GPU memory subsystem unit.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of ASIC design verification experience on complex IPs, units or sub-systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Hands-on experience across the full verification flow: test plan, tests, coverage model, testbench and BFM modeling.
  • Experience with random stimulus, functional coverage and assertion-based verification.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard simulation and debug tools.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in memory-subsystem or network interconnect IP verification.
  • Experience applying AI techniques (agents, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration) to verification workflows.
  • Strong debugging, analytical and cross-team communication skills; proficiency in spoken English is a plus.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience (the posting specifies "Master's degree or equivalent experience").
