Senior Design Verification Engineer - Hardware
Role Summary
Member of the NVIDIA MMPLEX verification team in Shanghai responsible for functional verification of hardware IP and SoC components used across NVIDIA product lines.
The role focuses on developing verification methodology and infrastructure, building and running UVM-based testbenches and regressions, tracking metrics and coverage, and collaborating with architects and designers to close functional gaps.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include creating and executing verification plans and improving verification automation and productivity.
- Research and improve verification methodology and automation to increase productivity.
- Review design specifications and produce corresponding testplans with architects and designers.
- Implement block/IP testbenches using UVM methodology.
- Build and operate regression flows; run regressions and triage failures to help designers root-cause bugs.
- Collect and monitor verification metrics (pass rate, functional coverage, etc.).
- Perform full-chip/SoC verification for integrated IPs.
- Analyze functional and code coverage; identify holes and work with designers to raise coverage.
- Deploy and maintain advanced verification infrastructure and SOC/IP-level methodologies.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and proven verification experience.
- Strong knowledge of advanced verification methodologies, tools, and flows.
- Experienced with end-to-end verification flow: testplan, tests, coverage models, testbench, and BFM modeling.
- Deep understanding of Verilog and one or more high-level verification languages (HVL).
- Ability to triage regressions and collaborate with design teams to diagnose issues.
- Nice-to-have: strong programming skills in Python and C/C++; experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, or Ruby.
- Nice-to-have: architecture/design experience is a plus.
Education Requirements
