Senior Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
As a technical member of the ASIC Design Verification team, you will validate complex SoC designs, take end-to-end ownership of verification environments, and collaborate with design and architecture teams to deliver high-quality silicon on schedule.
The team uses modern verification methodologies (UVM/SystemVerilog) and evaluates AI-assisted workflows to improve verification productivity and debugging efficiency.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 6+ years of IP and/or SoC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include building verification infrastructure, executing verification plans, and resolving integration issues with design teams.
- Develop and maintain UVM-based SystemVerilog verification environments.
- Define and execute block- and system-level verification plans.
- Debug complex functional and integration issues in collaboration with design teams.
- Drive coverage closure and continuously improve verification quality metrics.
- Explore and adopt AI-assisted techniques and tools to improve verification productivity and debug efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 6+ years of IP and/or SoC verification experience.
- Hands-on experience with UVM and constrained-random verification.
- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog.
- Proven analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with mixed-signal modeling and verification.
- Experience with DRAM, NAND, or SSD protocols, controllers, or systems.
- Experience with AI-assisted development, verification, or debug tools and interest in applying AI/ML to verification flows.
- Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering environments.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
