Senior Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Senior Design Verification Engineer responsible for chip- and block-level verification of advanced DRAM and emerging memory products. Works with design and verification teams to define verification plans, implement testbenches, debug failures, and close coverage for high-density, high-speed mixed-signal memory chips.

Position contributes to verification methodology, tool development, and mentoring of junior engineers across global teams.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include planning, executing, and leading verification activities for memory products.

  • Develop and implement verification plans based on specifications and architecture.
  • Design and maintain testbenches and test vectors for digital and analog simulations.
  • Debug simulation failures, lead bug tracking, and drive coverage closure.
  • Collaborate with international design and verification teams to create verification tools and flows.
  • Mentor early-career engineers and lead verification projects from planning through closure.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Basic understanding of CMOS circuit design.
  • Proficiency in mixed-signal verification and simulation tools (examples: HSPICE, VerilogHDL, FINESIM).
  • Experience with verification languages and methodologies (SystemVerilog, UVM, or equivalents).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Prior experience leading small or large verification projects and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with applying AI tools to verification tasks (as an assistive capability).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
