Senior Design Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for MOSFET and IGBT device design, simulation, layout, characterization, and cross-functional support to develop and launch power semiconductor products and next-generation platforms. Works closely with marketing, packaging, product engineering, and integration teams.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
- Perform device structure and process simulations using TCAD tools (e.g., Tsuprem4, Medici, Sentaurus).
- Characterize devices using laboratory equipment such as LCR meters, curve tracers, and FET testers.
- Design device layouts using L-edit or Cadence.
- Collaborate with marketing, packaging, product engineering, and integration to develop and launch new products and next-generation platforms.
- Participate in multi-discipline development projects and support technology transfer to production.
Requirements
Core skills and experience required:
- Strong background in power device physics (VDMOS, trench DMOS, SGT) and semiconductor device behavior.
- Experience with TCAD simulation tools and device layout tools (Tsuprem4, Medici, Sentaurus; L-edit or Cadence).
- Hands-on experience with lab characterization equipment and semiconductor testing methods.
- Knowledge of semiconductor process steps such as diffusion, implantation, and etching.
- Familiarity with power conversion topologies (DC/DC, Flyback, PFC, LLC).
- Ability to work in team environments and collaborate across disciplines to deliver product development milestones.
Education Requirements
