Role Summary
Join the GPU Hardware Team in Cambridge to develop key components for Arm's next-generation GPU IP. The role owns parts of GPU micro‑architecture and contributes across specification, implementation, verification and delivery.

Responsibilities
The role covers ownership of hardware micro-architecture blocks through the full design flow and collaboration with verification and implementation teams.
- Define and implement hardware designs for GPU IP.
- Own micro-architecture workstreams from concept through specification, implementation, testing and support.
- Make trade-off decisions affecting functionality, performance, area, frequency and power.
- Produce and review design and verification documentation and specifications.
- Technically support other specialists and collaborate across teams.
- Plan and track design tasks to meet delivery targets.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role.
- Hands-on experience using SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL for design.
- Proven experience delivering complex designs that meet performance, area, frequency and power targets.
- Ability to evaluate and make judgments on functionality, performance and physical implementation trade-offs.
- Experience producing specifications and technical documentation for sophisticated designs.
- Proven ability to own projects end-to-end: concept, specification, implementation, testing and support.
Nice-to-have:
- Practical experience on GPU or microprocessor designs.
- Knowledge of 3D graphics APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX).
- Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl or UNIX shell scripting).
