Senior Customer Release Engineer
Role Summary
Lead cross-functional execution of customer IP releases within the Release Management team. Ensure customer deliverables are integrated, validated, and shipped on schedule with high quality.
This is a coordination and technical debugging role working with architects, program managers, engineering, and sales/support teams to drive on-time releases and reduce defect escapes.

Senior-level. The posting requests 4+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on release readiness, integration, validation, and delivery of customer IP drops.
- Own release readiness and delivery for customer IP drops.
- Manage integration and configuration issues across core and uncore content.
- Generate release collateral and perform quality checks and validation.
- Track schedules, identify risks, and coordinate mitigation with PMs and engineering leads.
- Perform technical debugging to resolve delivery blockers.
- Collaborate with sales and support to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.
Requirements
Key must-have technical skills and tools for the role.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with release, build, and productization workflows.
- Familiarity with structured metadata/config formats such as JSON and YAML; IP-XACT experience preferred.
- Understanding of the hardware/IP delivery lifecycle and SoC design/verification flows at a working level.
- Embedded programming experience in Assembly and C/C++; familiarity with CMake and Make.
- Experience with Linux, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills; self-starter mentality.
Nice-to-have:
- FPGA prototyping, emulation, and simulation experience.
- CPU architecture, embedded bring-up depth, or experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with UVM, assertions, coverage, power estimation, SpyGlass, or functional languages such as Scala or Haskell.
Education Requirements
BE / ME / MTech / MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Computer Science.
