Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification planning, environment development, and debugging of compute/multimedia subsystems.
- Develop integration verification strategy and test plans for multimedia and compute subsystems.
- Create and maintain verification environments using UVM/SystemVerilog.
- Write tests and regressions; develop monitors, scoreboards, sequencers, and sequences.
- Perform RTL code, functional, assertion coverage and gate-level simulations.
- Use power-aware verification techniques to validate low-power features.
- Develop C reference models and interpret performance checks to identify issues.
- Debug builds and testbenches; analyze coverage and enable additional debug as needed.
- Communicate deviations from plan and drive productivity and methodology improvements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and workplace expectations.
- 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related practical experience.
- Thorough understanding of digital design concepts.
- Strong UVM and SystemVerilog skills; experienced building UVM testbenches.
- Familiarity with bus protocols such as AHB and AXI.
- Scripting experience in Perl and Python.
- Experience with RTL and gate-level simulation and coverage analysis.
- Experience applying power-aware verification techniques.
- Ability to read specifications quickly and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
