Job Title
Senior Circuit Methodology Engineer
Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group to define and drive circuit methodologies for GPUs and SoCs. The role leads methodology development, validation strategies, prototyping, and silicon correlation to improve circuit behavior, performance, quality, and product readiness.
This is a cross-functional, high-visibility engineering role responsible for translating product requirements into reusable methods and driving delivery from pre-silicon through productization.
Experience Level
Senior-level. Typically requires 8+ years of semiconductor or VLSI design experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver and operationalize circuit methodologies across the product lifecycle and lead technical alignment across teams.
- Lead methodology direction, feature readiness criteria, and release readiness from pre-silicon through productization.
- Develop prototyping, left-shift characterization, and early validation approaches to reduce downstream risk.
- Turn incomplete silicon data into hypotheses, measurement plans, and closure paths; evaluate multi-functional impacts and drive trade-offs across performance, quality, coverage, cost, and schedule.
- Create reusable frameworks, tools, screening plans, and best practices for circuit behavior and validation.
- Align and drive cross-functional execution with architecture, design, validation, and product teams.
- Design and validate AI-assisted engineering workflows for analysis, debug, and methodology automation with human oversight.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and demonstrable experience.
- 8+ years of semiconductor design or circuit methodology experience with strong technical leadership on complex silicon projects.
- Experience in silicon bring-up, validation, test-coverage optimization, yield ramp, and quality issue resolution.
- Proven track record delivering prototyping, left-shift, and silicon-correlation methodologies.
- Ability to bridge hardware and software specifications with silicon implementation.
- Practical hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and AI-augmented engineering workflows.
- History of creating reusable methods, tools, or frameworks adopted across teams or programs.
- Exceptional communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
