Role Summary

Join the NVIDIA Chip Design group to develop and verify core units within networking silicon. The role works across design, micro-architecture, firmware and verification teams to build reference models, simulate and validate chip blocks against specifications and performance targets.

Senior — the posting specifies 5+ years of proven design verification experience.

Responsibilities

The engineer will integrate verification activities into the chip development flow and collaborate with adjacent teams.

• Develop verification plans and build reference models for chip blocks.
• Write and run simulations to verify functionality and performance against specifications.
• Implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verify HDL implementations (Verilog/VHDL).
• Collaborate with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, Firmware and Post-Silicon validation teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze results, debug failures, and drive closure of verification tasks.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience.

• 5+ years of proven chip design verification experience.
• Deep, practical experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Strong HDL skills (Verilog and/or VHDL).
• Familiarity with industry verification tools and methodologies.
• Proficient English communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Validated ASIC verification experience.
• Experience with networking silicon or performance/power-focused designs.
• Experience interfacing with firmware and post-silicon validation teams.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
