Role Summary
The Senior Chip Design Engineer will design RTL for performance- and power-management IP within NVIDIA's networking silicon. The role is part of a combined design and verification team and requires close collaboration with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, Verification, and Post-Silicon validation teams to meet specifications and performance targets.
Experience Level
Senior level β typically 5+ years of relevant RTL design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design RTL according to specifications and performance/power requirements for performance and power-management IPs.
- Develop core IP within the networking silicon in a combined design and verification team.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, Verification, and Post-Silicon validation teams throughout development.
- Analyze and address performance and power trade-offs and implement design changes to meet targets.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience in RTL design.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with performance and power management IPs or networking silicon.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
