Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Switch Silicon team as a Senior Chip Design Engineer focused on RTL design and/or dynamic verification of high-performance switch ASICs. The role contributes to designing, simulating, and delivering chip blocks under strict power, area, and performance constraints while coordinating with architecture, back-end, and firmware teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include implementation, verification, and support through silicon bring-up:
- Develop RTL for units/blocks from architectural specifications with attention to power, area, and performance.
- Perform dynamic verification and build reference models; verify and simulate chip blocks against specifications.
- Support RTL synthesis, timing closure, and verification; assist post-tapeout silicon tasks.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Micro-architecture, Back-End, and Firmware teams to align design and verification.
Requirements
Core qualifications and preferred skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience in chip design (RTL and/or verification).
- Hands-on experience with RTL design, verification methodologies, simulation, and synthesis/timing flows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams; good communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of network protocols, high-performance computing, or distributed computing workloads.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
