Role Summary
Join the Switch Silicon design team in NVIDIA's Networking business unit to design and verify next-generation switch silicon. The role focuses on implementing and validating high-performance, low-power RTL blocks and ensuring they meet architecture and micro-architecture specifications.

Senior β typically 5+ years of chip design and verification experience.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
- Act as a dynamic verification or RTL design engineer for core switch-silicon units.
- Build reference models and develop verification environments to simulate and validate blocks against specifications.
- Design and modify RTL for units/blocks with attention to power, area, and performance constraints.
- Perform RTL synthesis, timing closure activities, and support post-silicon bring-up.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, Back-End, and Firmware teams to resolve cross-domain issues.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience, plus notable advantages:
- 5+ years of experience in chip design and verification.
- Practical experience in dynamic verification or RTL design and verification methodologies.
- Experience with RTL synthesis, timing closure, and supporting verification and silicon post-turn-on activities.
- Experience building reference models and performing block-level simulation and verification.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to work across multiple engineering teams.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with network protocols, high-performance computing, or distributed computation workloads.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted.
