Senior Cell Modeling and Verification Engineer
Role Summary
The NVIDIA VLSI team seeks a senior engineer to develop behavioral models and verification for custom mixed-signal design cells used across NVIDIA SoCs and GPUs. The role sits between circuit and digital design to produce RTL models that meet power, performance, and quality goals.
This position works with cross-functional teams on library build, cell integration, ASIC verification, and DFT simulation in a hybrid Santa Clara environment.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include modeling, verification, and delivery of high-quality RTL for mixed-signal cells:
- Develop behavioral models and verification for custom mixed-signal design cells.
- Model and verify mixed-signal designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog and scripting (Perl or Python).
- Work with PLLs and other high-speed interconnects during modeling and verification.
- Collaborate with library, ASIC verification, integration, and DFT teams.
- Document, implement, and deliver fully verified RTL to meet design targets.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; nice-to-have items listed separately.
- Must-have: 3+ years of relevant experience in RTL modeling/verification or equivalent industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with RTL simulation and waveform debug.
- Strong understanding of Verilog HDL and SystemVerilog verification concepts.
- Scripting experience in Python or Perl for modeling and test automation.
- Knowledge of fundamental digital and logic design concepts.
- Familiarity with modeling/emulating mixed-signal behavior and working with high-speed interfaces (e.g., PLLs).
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical details clearly.
- Nice-to-have: prior digital design experience and prior Verilog simulation project experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
