Role Summary

Join the Global SVE team developing CAD/EDA software and automation that support chip validation and emulation workflows for next-generation wireless products. Contribute C++ code, toolchain enhancements, and automation while collaborating with cross-functional hardware and validation teams.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain C++ software and automation for chip validation and emulation flows.
• Debug software and tool issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Enhance existing CAD/EDA tools, methodologies, and automation flows.
• Collaborate with hardware, validation, and cross-functional teams to integrate tools into workflows.
• Develop and maintain tests and documentation for toolchain components.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred technical skills (education summarized below).

• Must-have: Strong C++ programming skills; solid understanding of data structures and basic algorithms.
• Proven ability to methodically debug and troubleshoot software/tool issues.
• Good verbal and written communication; ability to work effectively in a team.
• Relevant software development experience (posting lists "0–2+ years" or equivalent practical experience).
• Nice-to-have: Experience with modern C++ (C++11/17/20), Python scripting, exposure to CAD/EDA tools, VLSI concepts or logic design, and performance-oriented software or algorithm background.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related Science/Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields. The posting states equivalent experience will be considered.
