Senior ASIC Verification Engineer - Networking Chip Design
Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Switch Silicon team to drive full-chip verification for next-generation networking (switch) ASICs. The role is focused on designing and running fullchip verification plans, maintaining verification infrastructure, and closing chip sign-off coverage.
This is an engineering position embedded in a combined design-and-verification team working on high-speed, high-throughput networking silicon.
Experience Level
Senior — requires experienced verification engineers. The posting requests 5+ years of relevant design verification (DV) experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include full-chip verification activities and maintaining verification flows:
- Work in a combined design and verification team focused on fullchip verification for switch ASICs.
- Understand switch architecture and derive/build test plans accordingly.
- Maintain and optimize the fullchip verification environment for feature coverage and efficiency.
- Develop fullchip test suites, run regressions, debug failures, and drive coverage to sign-off.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience and a short list of preferred items:
- Must-have: 5+ years of hands-on design verification (DV) experience.
- Must-have: Practical experience with testplan development, regression management, failure debug, and coverage closure.
- Must-have: Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with RTL designers and verification engineers.
- Nice-to-have: Prior experience in full-chip verification environments for complex SoCs or switch chips.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is specified (Electrical Engineering B.Sc. or Computer Engineering B.Sc.) or equivalent practical experience.
