Senior ASIC Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Senior verification engineer responsible for verification of the Memory Management Unit (MMU) within NVIDIA GPU ASICs. Work on functional verification, verification infrastructure, test plans, and collaborate with architects, designers and software engineers across sites.
This role contributes to high-performance GPU architectures used across graphics, HPC and AI domains.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include defining verification scope, building infrastructure, and ensuring correctness of the MMU design.
- Define verification scope for Memory Management Unit features and interfaces.
- Design and develop verification infrastructure: testbenches, BFMs, checkers, monitors.
- Implement test plans and coverage closure strategies; analyze coverage and debug failures.
- Develop reusable verification components and advance testbench methodology.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers and software engineers across sites to resolve issues and validate design intent.
- Drive strategic direction of verification methodology and tooling for the team.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience (as stated in the posting).
- Strong SystemVerilog skills and experience creating verification components.
- Proficient in C and/or C++ for verification tasks and test development.
- Experience with constrained-random testing, functional coverage and assertion-based verification.
- Familiarity with ASIC design and verification methodology and computer architecture concepts.
- Experience with simulators and debug tools such as VCS, IES, Debussy and GDB.
- Good debugging, problem solving and interpersonal communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of memory subsystem micro-architecture, cache topologies, memory management, interconnects or arbiters.
- Experience with UVM, scoreboards, semiformal verification and assertion-based methodologies.
- Scripting skills (Perl or Python).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field β or equivalent practical experience.
