Senior ASIC Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for planning and executing verification for clocking and reset logic across Tegra and GPU SoC products. Member of the NVIDIA Clocks Team working with architects and designers to deliver robust, reusable verification flows and infrastructure.
Role focuses on test plan development, automation, coverage metrics, test execution, bug identification/fix, and productization across multiple platforms.
Experience Level
Senior; 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of validation from test planning to productization and partnering with design teams.
- Develop test plans, automation, validation flows, and coverage metrics for clocking and reset structures.
- Implement and execute tests, identify and validate bugs, and drive fixes to productization.
- Create scalable verification solutions that work across platforms and products.
- Write and maintain verification code using SystemVerilog, UVM, C++, Perl, and Python.
- Collaborate with clocks architecture, design, and cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Support block-level and system-level verification and pre-silicon test plan execution.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 5+ years industry experience in ASIC/SoC verification.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design and architecture.
- Expertise in verification methodologies: SystemVerilog constraint-random verification, UVM, formal verification, coverage-driven verification, and profiling tools.
- Strong coding skills in SystemVerilog and C++; proficient with scripting (Perl, Python).
- Experience with block-level and system-level verification and developing test plans for pre-silicon platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple engineering teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience automating verification tasks and developing reusable methodologies.
- Object-oriented programming experience.
- Prior IP/block design or verification experience.
- DFT/IST exposure.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
