Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's ASIC Verification team to verify the design and implementation of a high-performance inference accelerator. The role focuses on block- and SoC-level verification, verification infrastructure, and collaboration with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams.

Senior - 8+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary verification responsibilities and collaboration expectations.

• Define verification scope for assigned units and features.
• Develop and maintain testbenches and verification infrastructure for block and SoC levels.
• Create and execute randomized stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification scenarios.
• Debug RTL, simulation results, and integration issues; analyze failures and drive fixes.
• Integrate and validate reference models and micro-architectural implementations.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre- and post-silicon teams to close verification gaps.
• Implement and optimize automated verification flows to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Stay current with verification methodologies and incorporate improvements, including applying ML techniques where appropriate.

Requirements

Key technical skills and tools expected for successful candidates.

• Must-have:
  • Strong experience building block- and SoC-level testbenches and strong debugging/analytical skills.
  • Proven use of randomized stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
  • Expertise in SystemVerilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
  • Experience with industry verification tools such as VCS and waveform/debug tools (Verdi or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with the ASIC design flow from specification through GDS.
• Nice-to-have:
  • UPF power verification experience.
  • Netlist and DFT verification experience.
  • Scripting and programming experience (Perl/Python) and C/C++.
  • Experience applying machine learning to verification flows.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering - or equivalent practical experience. The posting specifies 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
