Senior ASIC Design Engineer - XBAR IP
Role Summary
Design and deliver memory-subsystem/interconnect components for NVIDIA Graphics processors. The role covers micro-architecture, RTL implementation, verification, synthesis/timing closure, and post-silicon debug while collaborating with architects, verification, synthesis/timing, physical design, FPGA and software teams.
Work will affect GPU product lines across consumer graphics, automotive, and AI applications.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include architecture, RTL, verification, and cross-team integration.
- Own micro-architecture and RTL development for assigned modules.
- Architect features to meet performance, power, and area targets.
- Collaborate with hardware architects to define critical features.
- Work with verification teams to ensure correctness of implemented features.
- Coordinate with timing, VLSI and physical design teams to meet timing, interface and routability requirements.
- Integrate with FPGA and software teams for prototypes and software testing.
- Participate in post-silicon bring-up, verification and lab debug.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 4+ years of ASIC design experience.
- Proven RTL design of complex blocks across multiple projects (2β3 projects minimum).
- Experience with simulation and verification tools (e.g., VCS or equivalent) and debug tools (e.g., Debussy, GDB).
- Deep understanding of the ASIC design flow: RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floor-planning, ECO, bring-up and lab debug.
- Expertise in Verilog.
Nice-to-have:
- Design experience in memory subsystems or network interconnect IP.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, shell).
- Leadership experience leading small teams (2β3 members).
- Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Education Requirements
BS or MS degree, or equivalent practical experience. The posting does not specify a required field of study.
