Senior Architect, IC-System
Role Summary
As Senior IC-System Architect for high-speed networking systems, you will define system and ASIC requirements, improve ASIC yield, and lead cross-functional efforts to deliver high-performance InfiniBand, NVL and Ethernet switch solutions used in compute clusters and supercomputers.
You will work with architecture, logic, system software, firmware and hardware teams to ensure performance, reliability and manufacturability at scale.
Experience Level
Senior-level; typically 8+ years of relevant chip, system or hardware design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define and architect ASIC system requirements with emphasis on yield improvement.
- Collaborate with architecture, logic, system software, firmware and hardware teams to integrate system components.
- Lead development and implementation to meet performance, reliability and manufacturability targets.
- Manage projects to meet schedules and performance goals.
- Ensure design quality and attention to detail across the ASIC lifecycle.
Requirements
Essential qualifications and skills:
- 8+ years of experience in chip design, system-level engineering, or hardware development.
- Deep understanding of system integration across heterogeneous technology components.
- Proficiency in system-level architecture for high-speed networking.
- Strong communication, leadership, managerial and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn complex concepts quickly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to design detail and focus on design quality.
Education Requirements
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. (The posting specifies Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering; equivalent experience is accepted.)
