Deliver simulation and analysis tools, develop test infrastructure, perform coverage analysis, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate new modelling techniques including AI-based tooling to improve efficiency.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience, or MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include delivering models, tools, and validation for GPU/SoC features and supporting the modelling lifecycle.

  • Design, implement, and analyze graphics and SoC models (functional and performance).
  • Develop simulation and analysis tools, test plans, and testing infrastructure.
  • Implement feature support in existing models and validate correctness and performance.
  • Perform code coverage analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate across teams in a matrixed environment to document and integrate models.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote good coding practices.
  • Evaluate and adopt new modelling techniques and frameworks; help develop AI-based efficiency tools.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills; preferred items noted.

  • Strong programming in C++ and C; familiarity with build systems (CMake, make), compilers/toolchains (GCC, MSVC), and libraries (STL, Boost).
  • Solid background in computer architecture and performance modelling.
  • Experience with testing, test plans, and building testing infrastructure; code coverage analysis.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams; experience mentoring engineers.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience modeling with SystemC & TLM.
