Job Title

Senior Applied AI Engineer, Manufacturing & System Co-Design

Role Summary

Lead methodology and infrastructure to maintain alignment between system specifications and manufacturing test specifications across NVIDIA GPU, SoC, and CPU programs.

Work on the System–Manufacturing Architecture (SMAC) team building workflows, automation, and CI-ready tooling that prevent specification drift from pre-silicon through production.

Experience Level

Senior-level; requires 8+ years of experience in system software, silicon bring-up, or productization engineering.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include defining methodology, building pipelines, and driving cross-organizational adoption.

  • Define manufacturing specification types, schemas, and semantics derived from system PORs; manage versioning and validation across the program lifecycle.
  • Design and implement production-grade Python pipelines and automated checks to detect specification drift before silicon testing (ATE, SLT, BLT, L10+).
  • Integrate SMAC artifacts into program milestones, gates, and TPM-driven attestation workflows.
  • Build agent-ready tooling and CI infrastructure: CLIs, MCPs, retrieval, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and evaluation-based CI for real silicon workflows.
  • Drive adoption across Post-Silicon, Operations, and DFX teams and ensure tooling becomes relied-upon infrastructure.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong Python and systems engineering skills with production services and data pipelines shipped.
  • Deep knowledge of the spec ecosystem: system POR, guard-bands, manufacturing screen specs, and test insertion constraints.
  • Proven track record of cross-organizational influence and delivered methodologies adopted by partner teams.
  • Ability to interpret silicon/productization outputs (speed, power, binning) and apply AI with sound judgment; produce reviewable artifacts and define where manual validation remains required.
  • Experience building agent-ready tooling, CI gates, and human-in-the-loop evaluation is preferred.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS/MS) or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
